Product Electrical Safety Testing
Blackwood Compliance Laboratories now offer product electrical safety assessment against BS EN 60335-1:2002 (along with the relevent part 2) for Household and similar electrical appliances. This service can be tailored to your specific requirements, whether it be an initial 'look see' at the product to identify potential issues or full compliance testing with CB style TRF reporting.
The latest amendment of the standard contains new EMC immunity type requirements for appliances incorporating an electronic on / off or standby switch. If this applies to your product then be assured that Blackwood Compliance Laboratories can perform these tests.
